Rosalind Brewer

Brewer, one of only two Black women to lead Fortune 500 companies, has been the CEO at Walgreens Boots Alliance since March 2021. Her executive team oversees a robust diversity, equity and inclusion strategy, which includes supporting a global council comprising 21 leaders. In fiscal 2021, the company spent $521.5 million with diverse suppliers, deployed an online course for employees aimed at addressing unconscious bias and launched an internal speaker series through its Marketing for Change action board. It also raised more than $21 million to combat child poverty in the U.S. through Red Nose Day. Brewer serves on several boards, including the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, and chairs the board of trustees for Spelman College.
